Video conferences

If necessary or useful, we will hold video conferences / video calls with you. For this purpose, we use the "Microsoft Teams" application from Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (hereinafter also referred to as "Microsoft"). For this purpose, Klinikum Stuttgart has concluded a data protection agreement (a so-called "Data Protection Addendum") with Microsoft.

In order to conduct video conferences / video calls, Microsoft and Klinikum Stuttgart process your required personal data such as IP address, type of end device, audio and video data as well as other connection information such as the number of connection attempts, connection duration and the amount of data transferred. In order to participate in a video conference / video call, you must enter a user name, which is also processed by Microsoft and Klinikum Stuttgart for the purpose of the video conference / video call.

The transmission of audio and video data is encrypted and the transmitted data will not be stored or recorded by Microsoft or by us.

The processing of your personal data in the context of the video conference / video call takes place with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, in which you join the video conference / video call.
