Augenärztliche Kontrolltermine zum Ausschluss einer Uveitis

Die Uveitis (Regenbogenhautentzündung) kann als extraartikuläre Manifestation einer JIA auftreten. Sie verläuft zu Beginn oft asymptomatisch und schädigt die vordere Augenkammer. Daher sind regelmäßige augenärztliche Kontrollen besonders wichtig. Die Screeningintervalle ergeben sich je nach Risikofaktor (siehe Tabelle).
