The neuropaediatric centre works as a supraregional care centre for children and adolescents with cerebral diseases and disorders of the spinal cord, peripheral nerves and musculoskeletal system. High-level care is provided for patients by an interdisciplinary team consisting of paediatric neurologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and paediatric nurses. Treatment concept corresponds to the latest scientific examination and therapy procedures and they are matched to each patient individually.
Due to the tight networking with the Social Paediatric Centre (SPZ), other departments of the clinic, paediatrists and therapists, high-specialised and comprehensible care can be offered even in complex diseases. In dealing with chronic illnesses, the physical, psychic and social context is of great importance to reach optimal life quality for each patient.
We offer wide-range psychosomatic treatment and pain therapy in our new ward for paediatric psychosomatics and pain therapy.
