Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care

The Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care of Bad Cannstatt Hospital offers anaesthesia services to the Clinic of General and Visceral Surgery, the Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery, the Centre for Dermatology and the Centre for Psychic Health.

We are committed to comprehensive service for patients and surgical teams with the target of optimization of premedication, the minimization of nil by mouth phase, the optimisation of postoperative pain therapy, as well as the prevention of nausea and vomiting along with coordination of all working procedures in the operating room.
