The Clinics for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology / Neuro-radiology serve in the Bürgerhospital, the Department of Internal Medicine, the Department of Neurology with the Stroke Unit and the Centre for Mental Health. We offer the necessary equipment for all clinical requirements. These range from X-ray equipment for conventional radiology to modern multi-slice computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

The clinic has particularly in the MRI a range of special investigative techniques such as brain perfusion, diffusion and spectroscopy. Last but not least, the clinic has special coils for MRI examinations of the female breast (in collaboration with the certified Breast Centre of Stuttgart Hospital at Bad Cannstatt Hospital). The new multi-slice computed tomography also allow CT angiography and perfusion measurements.

All radiological systems are fully digitized (RIS, PACS) so that examination results of the highest quality are made directly available.
