The Women's Clinic offers its patients the entire spectrum of treatments available in gynaecology and obstetrics. Here, the emphasis lies in  minimally-invasive surgery, oncological therapy including mammosurgery, uro-gynaecology and prenatal medicine.

The perinatal centre (along with the neonatology ward) fulfils all requirements in place for centres providing the highest level of care, and is among Germany's five leading birthing clinics. Every year over 2,500 children are born here. This makes the Women's Clinic one of Germany's largest birthing clinics.

The certified Mammary Care Centre at the Klinikum Stuttgart is based within the Women's Clinic. In the monitoring audit conducted for 2007 and 2008, it was stated that the Mammary Care Centre continues to fulfil the high quality standards set by the German Cancer Society and the German Senology Society. An increasing number of patients affected by breast ailments come to this clinic to benefit from its expertise and performance capacity in providing maximum care – expertise and empathy from a single source.

As early as 2007, the Centre for Gynaecological Cancers (ZGO) was established here at the Women's Clinic. It stands for comprehensive diagnostics and therapy in response to all genital malignomas affecting women. The primary objective of the ZGO is the guideline-oriented and quality-assured treatment of patients with genital malignomas at the highest level and the constant readiness to optimise diagnostics and treatment quality.

The Women's Clinic (embedded in the network structure of the Klinikum Stuttgart) fulfils by its size and high level of malignant-patient traffic all requirements to become Stuttgart's leading centre for gynaecological oncology. In summer 2009 the Women's Clinic got the certification by the German Cancer Society and LGA Intercert.
