The clinic performs diagnosis and treatment for gastrointestinal, oncology and endocrine disorders in adulthood. We focus on pancreas, liver, oesophagus and rectum operations and minimally invasive surgery. Kidney transplants are also performed. Through close cooperation with other disciplines all patients enjoy interdisciplinary diagnostic and multimodal therapeutic concepts available in a maximum care clinic. Many minimally invasive (endoscopic) operations are performed.

The clinic is both according to the criteria of the German Cancer Society and according to the criteria of the German Society of General and Visceral Surgery nationwide, the second double-certified Pancreas Centre. Similarly, the clinic is a competence-certified centre for Coloproctology.
