The spectrum of procedures encompasses the surgical treatment of all disorders of the brain, spinal cord, the nerves in the arms and legs as well as the spinal cord.

These include tumours (gliomas, meningeomas, metastases), vascular malformations (aneurysms, AV malformations, cavernomas), haemorrhaging (brain haemorrhage, subdural haematoma, sub-arachnoidal haemorrhage), degenerative disorders of the cervical spine, thoracic spine and lumbar spine (herniated discs, spinal-canal stenoses), cerebrospinal-fluid circulation disorders (hydrocephalus, cysts), head and spine injuries induced by accidents and trauma (spinal-cord injuries, vertebral-body fractures) and brain disorders in children requiring neurosurgery (hydrocephalus, skull deformations, spina bifida, tumours).
